Founded in 2010, Mud Silk Studios is a women-led, family-run design studio rooted between Brooklyn, NY, and Hainan Island, China. Marrying ancient Chinese craftsmanship with modern elegance. Expanding its reach, the studio launched its online shop in the US in 2023.

Specializing in eco-conscious mud silk, our mission is to create sustainable fashion, reviving a heritage technique to produce timeless, organic garments. Beyond crafting clothes, Mud Silk Studios champions slow fashion, offering pieces meant to last and be passed down through generations.
