Return & Refund Policy

We want you to love your Mud Silk Studios pieces. Because each garment is made from rare, handmade mud silk (香云纱), please read our return terms below.

Returns
We accept returns within 7 days of delivery. To be eligible, items must be unused, unworn, and in their original condition with tags attached. To start a return, email us at jessica@mudsilkstudios.com with your order number within 7 days of delivery.

Made-to-measure & custom items
Because custom-made, personalized, and made-to-measure pieces are cut and sewn to your individual measurements, they are final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds. If the fit is off due to our error, we will remake or alter the garment free of charge — just contact us with photos.

Damaged, defective, or incorrect items
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, email us at jessica@mudsilkstudios.com within 7 days of delivery with photos. We will arrange a free replacement or a full refund, including shipping.

Return shipping
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect. If an item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer may be responsible for any loss in value.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
